Pennsylvania is in a unique position as one of the few states with a split legislature: a Republican-controlled Senate and a Democratic-controlled House, yet neither chamber has a sizable majority for a voting bloc. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania still has several anti-competitive labor laws on the books from the 1960s that desperately need modernization.
