About the program

The Carpentry Apprenticeship program is a comprehensive 4-year course that combines hands-on experience with classroom instruction. It requires 144 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI), each year, and 8,000 total hours of On-the-Job Learning (OJL). The RTI follows the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) curriculum, with apprentices earning industry-recognized, stackable credentials at each level. The program starts with CORE, an introductory module that covers communication skills, employability, basic construction safety, and the use of hand and power tools, before advancing through Carpentry Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. Applications are due by July 1, 2025.
