NCCER HVACR Curriculum
The Electrical Apprenticeship program is a thorough 4-year course that integrates hands-on experience with classroom learning. It involves 164 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI), annually, and 8,000 total hours of On-the-Job Learning (OJL). The RTI follows the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) curriculum, with apprentices earning industry-recognized, stackable credentials at each level. The program begins with CORE, an introductory module covering communication skills, employability, basic construction safety, and the use of hand and power tools, before progressing through Electrical Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. Applications are due by July 1, 2025.
