TOP REASONS TO CHOOSE A CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN

In an apprenticeship, you learn from a mentor on the job and instructors in the classroom, earning a paycheck from day one. Upon completion, you’ll already be employed by the company that supported your training.

ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT

Construction offers many opportunities to move up the career ladder from journey worker to supervisor, project manager and even owner. Many companies are run by individuals who started in apprenticeship.

JOBS ARE IN DEMAND

Over the next few years, the construction industry will need over one million new craft professionals.  While others will struggle to find work, you will be on a career pathway in one of the most in-demand fields in the country.

PRIDE IN CRAFTSMANSHIP

Those in the construction industry get a sense of accomplishment as the structure they are working on is completed. Just imagine how it would feel to drive by a building and tell a friend or family member, “I built that.”
