In apprenticeship, you learn from a mentor on the job and instructors in the classroom.  You get paid from your first day of work while also learning in the classroom.  When your apprenticeship is completed, you will already be employed with the company who supported you through the apprenticeship.

How to Join?

Apply to our Program:

  • Submit an application.
  • Submit a copy of your driver’s license.
  • Submit a copy of your high school diploma.
  • If applicable, provide a copy of college transcripts, Pre-Apprenticeship completion, trade certifications, or diplomas.

Brush Up on Your Math Skill:

  • Applicants need to complete a pre-math test in order to start as an apprentice with ABC.

    Wait for an Opening:

    • Once applicant meet the minimum requirements, applicant will be added to a ranked applicant pool to fill openings as they occur.

    How does the process work?

    All applicants must complete an application by July 1st. A math test will be scheduled once your application is received. Applicant must provide the following items at time of application to qualify: High school Diploma or GED and Driver’s License.

    A letter will be emailed to all applicants letting them know their application has been received and to schedule math testing.  If accepted, a mandatory orientation will be held.  If the applicant is not accepted, they will be placed on the eligibility list for further consideration for up to 2 years or until accepted in whichever comes first.  Any applicant can request to be removed from that list if you choose. Be sure to keep physical address, email and phone number current with our office during the entire process.

    If the applicant is accepted into the program, he/she is responsible for paying the tuition payment in full prior to August 31st.  This can be arranged through your employer or as an individual payee.  Payments received after the payment due date will disqualify you from starting the apprenticeship.  Also, if accepted the applicant will be required to sign a promissory note that states if they quit or are terminated from the program before its completion, the applicant will be required to pay back the cost of the tuition paid by their contractor.
