Construction is one of the largest industries in the country, and it is not going away anytime soon. As long as people need homes, schools, hospitals, and more, the construction industry will exist. Additionally, a job in construction will never be outsourced. Each person that enters the construction industry is on the path to earning a competitive salary, learning a new skill, and building America.

How to Join?
Apply to our Program:
- Submit an application.
- Submit 3 character references.
- Submit high school transcript.
- Complete employer agreement and other details as needed.
Brush Up on Your Math Skill:
- Applicant need to complete a pre-math test in order to start as an apprentice with ABC.
Wait for an Opening:
- Once applicant meet the minimum requirements, applicant will be added to a ranked applicant pool to fill openings as they occur.
How does the process work?
All applicants must complete an application only during specific open enrollment dates. A math test will be completed with the application. Applicant must provide the following items at time of application to qualify: High school Diploma or GED and birth certificate.
A letter will be emailed to all applicants letting them know if they have been accepted or not. If accepted, a mandatory orientation will be held. If the applicant is not accepted, they will be placed on the eligibility list for further consideration for up to 2 years or until accepted in whichever comes first. Any applicant can request to be removed from that list if you choose. Be sure to keep physical address, email and phone number current with our office during the entire process,.
If the applicant is accepted into the program they will be responsible for purchasing any tools for work and books for school. An ABC representative can prepare a list of required tools upon request. Also, if accepted the applicant will be required to sign a promissory note that states if they quit or are terminated from the program before its completion, the applicant will be required to pay back the cost of the tuition paid by their contractor. It is very important the applicant have reliable transportation if accepted as the job could be anywhere in the local jurisdiction.
