BUILD THE WORLD – Begin a Career In Construction.

A career in construction in one of value and pride.  Construction allows you work with your hands and see a finished product.   As long as people need homes, schools, hospitals, and more, the construction industry will exist and thrive. Additionally, a job in construction will never be outsourced. Openings in the construction industry are expected to continue to grow as the older generations retire and leave the industry.  Each person that enters the construction industry is on the path to longevity, earning a competitive salary, learning a new skill, and building America.

In apprenticeship, you learn from a mentor on the job and instructors in the classroom.  You get paid from your first day of work while also learning in the classroom.  When your apprenticeship is completed, you will already be employed with the company who supported you through the apprenticeship.

Construction offers many opportunities to move up the career ladder from journey worker to supervisor, project manager and even owner. Many companies are run by individuals who started in apprenticeship.

Over the next few years, the construction industry will need over one million new craft professionals.  While others will struggle to find work, you will be on a career pathway in one of the most in-demand fields in the country.

Those in the construction industry get a sense of accomplishment as the structure they are working on is completed. Just imagine how it would feel to drive by a building and tell a friend or family member, “I built that.”
