Fundamentals of Crew Leadership

This course is designed to support leadership training for front line leaders, such as crew leaders and foreman. Attendees will learn efficient and effective strategies to lead their crew during active projects designed to increase safety and productivity.  This course will also explore new and innovative leadership skills related to scheduling, workface planning, field reporting, resource control, managing diverse crews, addressing performance issues, and conflict resolution. Modern leadership is constantly evolving within our industries. Get ahead of the curve and become a more effective leader through our Fundamentals of Crew Leadership course.


Instructor:

The Callidus Group will provide content, facilitate discussions, in-class activities, and offer practical applications for each topic. In addition, handouts, case studies, guest speakers, and follow-up reading will be provided to support the learning process. Sessions will focus on content discussions, group exercises, and application of learning to individual situations.

The Callidus Group facilitators are all trained and certified facilitators for the Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City and completed the NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program. Each facilitator has over 40 years of real-world experience in both large and smaller organizations, and all have performed supervisory, management and leadership roles in a variety of business environments. In addition, they have facilitated a variety of adult educational programs for major organizations in Western PA.
